產(chǎn)品描述：Human urothelial cells are a specialized cell type that lines the inner surface of the urinary bladder, exhibiting remarkable plasticity and diverse functions. Serving as the primary defense barrier within the bladder, they act as a crucial interface against invading pathogens. These cells employ an array of defense mechanisms to thwart pathogen adherence and maintain the impermeability of the bladder to urinary solutes. Expressing key receptors such as estrogen receptor-alpha, estrogen receptor-beta, epidermal growth factor receptor, and fibroblast growth factor receptor, urothelial cells play a pivotal role in responding to injuries and infections. Additionally, they release various cytokines and immune system mediators, contributing to the overall immune defense of the urinary system.
